High Sports reaches new heights with YESpay!
High Sports Group Ltd. is the UK's leading operator of indoor climbing
centres. The fact that the company successfully ensures people’s
safety everyday leaves no doubt about its eye for high quality, security
and accuracy! Even though the company’s product line is well
mastered, their payment solution could never meet their expectation.
The PDQ kit was slow in a customer-facing environment and could not be integrated with High Sports
EPOS software. Since 60% of the transactions at High Sports are credit or debit card based, they needed
a solution that could handle these payment transactions and, the back office functions for transaction
reconciliation equally well. An easy integration with the current software was also a challenge. This led
High Sports software partner, RD Software Ltd. to closely inspect several payment solutions and they

the risk of errors. The transaction speed, customer and operator experience has improved strikingly,

transactions happened in around 3 secs compared to the 45-60 secs that the PDQ would normally take",

The Way Forward
The implementation of EasyV-Retail and adoption of a different way of working was a big challenge for
the existing centers of High Sports. But after a successful migration of one site, its benefits were realised
instantly and before long, other sites moved too!
With 7 High Sports main outlets and a small school-based wall smoothly running on YESpay system, High
sports became 100% dependant on the EasyV-Retail solution. The later additions – a store in Basildon
(2011) and another in Plymouth (early 2012) had multiple EPOS and YESpay terminals from the beginning.

YESpay achieves accreditation of its Hosted EMBOSS EMV Integrated
Card Payment Service with Elavon Merchant Services and HSBC Bank.
Approved with the latest Verifone Vx820 PIN Pad which supports
Point-to-Point Encryption, EMBOSS facilitates both off-line and on-line
PIN verification ensuring it can deal with all credit and debit card payments. Retailers can now benefit
from a single credit and debit integrated to their POS card payment service as well as a consolidated
merchant service agreement for all its stores. This will help retailers significantly reduce their costs for
card processing by having a single merchant service agreement with Elavon and low monthly EMBOSS
service costs.

YESpay announces EMV Chip and PIN
accreditation with Moneris, Canada
Moneris, one of North America's largest processors of debit and credit
card transactions, has recently accredited YESpay International's
EMBOSS hosted payment service to manage EMV migration of its merchants using integrated EPOS
system across Canada. The formal certification included end-to-end EMV Chip and PIN testing with
Interac, MasterCard and Visa using the Verifone Vx810 PIN pad.
Both parties are excited to be able to offer a fully integrated EPOS Chip and PIN payment solution that
provides merchants with a one-stop EMV accredited and PCI-DSS certified payment processing service
for face-to-face credit and Interac debit transactions.
