YESpay achieves Pan-European accreditation with Elavon

YESpay has successfully completed the accreditation of its EMBOSS payment service with Elavon Merchant Services making it one of the leading UK companies to provide outsourced payment services across multiple countries. Approved with the Verifone VX810 PIN Pad, EMBOSS supports both off-line and on-line PIN verification ensuring it can deal with all credit and debit card payments. Pan-European merchants can significantly reduce their costs for card processing by having a single merchant service agreement with Elavon and low monthly EMBOSS service costs.

YESpay conducts Partner Satisfaction Survey

At YESpay we constantly want to better our services with the aim of providing complete partner satisfaction. To achieve this, YESpay compiled an online Partner survey in July 2010 and invited all our existing partners (sales and support contacts) to provide feedback. The key findings were:

our partners mostly resell EasyV-Retail, but we have also noted a growth tendency for EasyV-Kiosk and EasyV-Internet
80% of our partners believe it is important to have an integrated payment service for their customers
our partners are satisfied with the technical knowledge and expertise of our sales team on our products and also with the frequency of communication they receive from us
61% of our partners rate our pricing as 'competitive'
28% of partners rate our payment service as 'excellent' and 41% as 'good'
It takes only 1-2 weeks for the majority of our partners to complete integration
66% of the respondents rate the ease to get in touch with our support team as good to excellent.
The majority of our partners experienced their support issues taking less than a day to be resolved
Overall support service: 13% of the respondents rated it as 'excellent' and 56% of the respondents rated it as 'good'

The survey closed on 10th September 2010. As an incentive to our partners for giving us their feedback we offered an iPad to a lucky draw winner, Mr Simon Geraghty of Nebula Systems (photo below). The survey provided invaluable insight and shed light in what we do well and what areas need improvement.

Cost saving
YESpay charges a single 'Setup fee' per POS and a low on-going 'fixed monthly fee' per POS system or e-commerce website and NOT per click or per transaction charge. Tokenisation
Tokenisation is a process whereby a 'token' or card reference numbers are created by the EMBOSS Data Centre. These tokens are linked to credit/debit card details within EMBOSS compliant environment, and then provided to merchants. The YESpay PCI-DSS certification authorises YESpay to store credit/debit card details securely; hence YESpay simplifies PCI-DSS as it stores card details in its data centres, on behalf of the merchant. YESpay allows the merchant indirect card information access with the creation of a 'token' linked to the card and passed on to the merchant.
Point-to-Point (End-to-End) encryption
YESpay provides point-to-point (sometimes also referred to as "end-to-end") encryption from the card acceptance PIN pad devices all the way to its EMBOSS data centres. Our EasyV Terminal Payment application (PA-DSS compliant) communicates with the PIN pad over an SSL (Secure Socket Layer 128-bit 3DES encryption) encrypted LAN. All cardholder data on LAN is encrypted using SSL at the merchant (retailer) location eliminating card data exposure. The EasyV Terminal also uses SSL to send all card data encrypted to its remote EMBOSS data centres. As a matter of security and certification, applications in the retailer network (EPOS or others) are not exposed to the transmission or storage of any card data.

Canadian Retail Solutions partners with YESpay International to offer EMV Chip and PIN managed card payment service to its merchants in Canada

Canadian Retail Solutions (CRS) is now able to offer its flagship Retail Pro POS Software integrated with YESpay's end to end EMV Chip and PIN accredited and PCI-DSS Level 1 certified managed payment service, EMBOSS.

Canadian Retail Solutions (CRS) specializes in Point of Sale (POS) Systems for small to mid-sized Canadian merchants operating in multi-store environments. Already integrated and rolled out with merchants in UK, Retail Pro is now available in Canada. Integrated with EasyV-Retail, Retail Pro now constitutes a unique proposition for inventory management as well as EMV Chip and PIN and magnetic stripe credit and debit card acceptance and processing for merchants operating from estates of all sizes. Canadian merchants will have to upgrade their EPOS tills to be able to handle EMV Chip and PIN card transactions by the liability shift date of October 2010. This proposition in fact relieves merchants from deploying and maintaining an in-house payment solution as well as undergoing formal end-to-end bank testing and managing PCI-DSS compliance.

Grange Builders Providers achieves operational benefits using Agility Software EPOS solution integrated with YESpay managed payment service

Agility Software's EPOS solution is now integrated with YESpay's EasyV-retail solution to enable its largely growing customer base to accept Chip and PIN debit and credit card payments. Agility Software is the largest supplier of Point of Sale (POS) software solutions to independent builders' merchants and DIY retailers in Ireland and is rapidly growing in the United Kingdom as well. Integrated with YESpay International's managed payment service, Agility Software is offering its clients a renowned POS, stock control and accounting solution, complete with a card payment service that is reliable, affordable, fully pre-accredited by all the major card acquirers in UK, Europe and North America but also end-to-end certified to PCI-DSS Level 1 as mandated by Visa and MasterCard.

Grange Builders Providers, a leading building materials, hardware, garden, DIY, painting and decorating goods retailer based in Dublin, Ireland, is one of Agility Software's customers that switched to YESpay's outsourced payment solution from using bank owned terminals. Small and small to medium size retailers like Grange Builders Providers tend to use bank owned terminals because they think that this is the most economical solution for them or simply because they do not want to deal with many different suppliers. This, however, means that they have to put up with an unstable connection and a very slow payment processing service, while they are still responsible to arrange for PCI-DSS compliance. In his previous roles, Jitendra worked with Diaspark Inc. as Sales Executive for US IT consulting, Tracmail India Pvt Ltd, Mumbai and as Team Leader for Amex-US Credit cards third party collection. Jitendra has over 15 years' experience in Pharma, Customer Care and BPO and he has completed D'Pharm from Mumbai University.

Sophia Dahri, Marketing and Business Development Manager (Canada) sophia.dahri@yes-pay.com Sophia Dahri joined YESpay International in Toronto (Canada) in October 2010 as a Marketing and Business Development Manager. Before joining YESpay, Sophia worked 2 years at Mercedes-Benz France and EvoBus Mercedes-Benz in Germany in Marketing and Communications management positions. She graduated from Grenoble Graduate School of Business and obtained a Master's degree in Management in 2007, major in Marketing. Being bi-cultural, she is fluent in French, German and English.
