NRF confirms the trend towards YESpay's integrated emboss payment solution

National Retail Federation's annual event held this January 2011 in New York, is always an important meeting point for merchants. Accepting card payments in an integrated fashion has been one of the biggest challenge merchants have been facing at their point-of-sale. No wonder why it was one of the hottest topics at NRF this year! But this challenge should not be a daunting task, as merchants have the choice to overcome this burden using a unique hosted payment solution like YESpay.
Merchants no longer want to use a standalone terminal and its array of inconvenience. Besides, liability shift for Canadian EMV debit card payments is coming into effect as of March 31st. The only way merchants and their POS providers can beat this threatening deadline is by using a unique outsourced EMV payment solution such as YESpay's emboss service, fully PCI-DSS certified and pre-accredited with Chase Paymentech and FDMS. The integration with POS software is completed in a matter of weeks and it is the quickest route to market!

YESpay's mobile strategy
|
Over the next few years, mobile payment methods will be devised based around a combination of the following three technological components: Mobile Wallets, 3-D Secure and NFC Phones. YESpay's mobile payments strategy is based centrally on these three axes.
We are now launching mobile payments products such as YESpay-Wallets™ and YESpay-V-Cards™ card payment programs, allowing customers to pay for web, mobile and in-store purchases with select smartphones.
The YESpay-Wallet™ Mobile App allows customers to manage their virtual and credit cards, check their Virtual Card balances, reload their Virtual Cards with any major credit/debit card, check their Retailer Discount Coupons and Promotions status and find a nearby YESpay Merchant store with the store locator feature. In addition, using the mobile app customers can pay with their smartphone by selecting one of their credit/debit or Virtual Cards in their electronic wallet, holding their mobile device in front of a scanner on the countertop and scan the card Mobile App's on-screen barcode to make a purchase.
YESpay-V-Cards™ pre-paid accounts will be used as novel payment methods for mobile and fixed Internet goods and services. These virtual cards stored on the mobile YESpay-Wallets™ will work like cash; the "top-up" or recharging can be conducted at retailer stores using cash or credit card, through bank accounts and on the mobile via credit/debit cards.
To experience mobile YESpay-Wallet™ payments at participating YESpay merchants, customers just need to download the free YESpay-Wallet™ Mobile App for select BlackBerry™ smartphones, iPhone™ or iPod™ touch mobile devices. |
