So here we are at the end of another year! It has been a good year indeed. Looking back on 2010, YESpay re-affirmed its position as a leading payment service provider. Since we introduced cloud computing architecture in 2009 for our four data centres worldwide, our payment gateway, emboss, has hit an operational record of more than one year of uninterrupted service providing 100% uptime for credit and debit cards payments authorisation, and keeps going...
In 2010 we have again seen growth of over 50% and have signed partnerships with new exciting customers, such as Molton Brown, Morrison's, Diesel, The Entertainer, Schuh, Benefit Cosmetics, Royal Academy of Arts, Delfont Macintosh Theatre to name just a few. We continued to work closely with our IT Partners to be able to offer unique service propositions, such as gift card, wallet facility, contactless payments, DCC and Tax Free Shopping, and tokenisation and strengthened our multi-channel payment services and products supported by a wide range of Chip and PIN devices for both card present and card not present environments.
Our global expansion strategy has been well on track in 2010 finding our North American operations coming into fruition. Operating from our subsidiary based in Toronto, Canada, in 2010 we accredited our payment solution with the leading acquirers (Chase Paymentech and First Data already signed off, Moneris and Global Payments underway) and started collaborations with local retail software providers in both Canada and USA. This officially makes us the first fully outsourced and managed EMV Chip and PIN payment service provider in Canada, and really very proud of it!
Coming back to Europe, in 2010 we achieved a Pan-European certification with Elavon Merchant Services and we are now able to support retailers operating in multiple European countries, helping them to reduce their costs for card processing by having a single merchant service agreement and low monthly emboss service costs. We are one of the few UK companies who can provide outsourced payment services across multiple countries and we are keen to work with retailers and IT integrators who operate in different countries.
This year culminated for us with a very successful Partner Event in November, at Lord's Cricket Ground in London (find out more in the next story in this newsletter).
If we look at the payments industry, it has been an exciting year as well. With PCI-DSS, end-to-end (E2EE) or more correctly point-to-point encryption (P2PE) and multi-channel retailing being key areas of discussion, or buzz words if you prefer, YESpay has provided clear solutions and has helped retailers with their payment requirements and concerns. What comes next? PCI-DSS compliance, mobile payments, NFC, contactless payments seem to be the dominating 'themes' for 2011. Innovation is key for us so we are already working on very interesting projects covering these areas; you will hear from us again on that pretty soon.
So, yes, overall it has been a good year for us! Allow me to thank you once more for the successful year and again, I look forward to working with you all in 2011!

YESpay Partner Event 2010
We are proud to announce the success of our First Annual Partner Event held on the 9th November 2010 at Lord's Cricket Ground in London.
More than 100 delegates representing IT integrators, retailers, QSAs and acquiring banks gathered at Lord's Cricket Ground to hear from an array of external speakers from key organisations and discuss the trends and latest developments currently affecting retailing and the payments industry. The theme of the event was 'Customer Value Add', and the topics discussed ranged from PCI-DSS requirements and how they affect retailers in their decisions, NFC technology wave of adoption in the retail industry, the multi-channel challenge that retailers are facing and the trends, innovations and developments in the hospitality industry and the impact of payments.
Senior executives in YESpay gave a thought leadership opinion of the payments industry and how it has evolved. Whilst EMV Chip and PIN and PCI-DSS remain central topics for merchants, there is a significant move to outsourced managed payment service providers offering fully certified and accredited solutions. In addition, value added services including gift card, mobile payments, DCC and contactless are going to become vital to retailers to increase sales and customer affinity. It's all about customer value add!

| Pacific Amber Technologies Inc partners with YESpay International |
Another leading partnership has been secured in Canada with Pacific Amber Technologies who has integrated EasyV-Retail within their AmberPOS point of sale software solution. AmberPOS is a customisable Point of Sale Software solution with a proven track record of serving Canadian and US retailers and this strategic partnership now enables Pacific Amber Technologies' growing base of AmberPOS customers to accept Chip and PIN debit and credit card payments. This proposition in fact relieves merchants from deploying and maintaining an in-house payment solution as well as undergoing formal end-to-end bank testing and managing PCI-DSS compliance. Having successfully helped hundreds of retailers in the Greater Vancouver area for over 15 years, Pacific Amber Technologies chose to integrate with emboss in order to offer to its customers a secure, pre-accredited payment service at a low monthly cost.
As our first terminals are up and running in Canada, we are very excited with the acceptance of our service in the Canadian market and at the same time committed to continue to assist merchants with their payment requirements as the liability shift date is approaching (March 2011). |

EasyV-web is a Virtual Terminal, suitable for Call Centres, MOTO, or any kind of business who uses remote payments in a card not present (CNP) environment. To start using EasyV-web you need no installation, integration or testing whatsoever; you only need to register with us, you receive your log in and access details and you start receiving payments, it's as simple as that. EasyV-web supports all transaction types, sale, refund and tokenisation, for recurring or subscription payments through tokens. As with our other products, you get access to a reporting portal, allowing you to track transactions down to merchant, agent or terminal level.

DCC now on offer to strengthen our commercial proposition

| Electronic charity box - An innovation brought to you by YESpay - STS - The Pennies Foundation |
Pennies, the electronic charity box, is an innovation in the charitable sector that harnesses retail payments technology to make it easy, affordable and secure for consumers to give pennies to charity as they shop and pay by card. If half of the UK's card-holders gave 8 pence a week in this way an additional £89 million a year could be raised every year.
The Pennies Foundation, the UK registered charity which has created Pennies, has joined forces with Smart Technology Solutions (STS) and YESpay International (YESpay) to extend the Pennies proposition to retailers served by YESpay that operate both in-store and online. This collaboration will make it simple for these retailers to switch the Pennies capability on.
This new channel is designed to raise additional funds for UK registered charities. It gives shoppers the choice of donating their electronic change in private at the touch of a button when they shop in-store or online. The Pennies Foundation then adds these small individual donations together and distributes the full content of the electronic charity box to designated UK charities.
YESpay is in the process of incorporating the 'Pennies solution' into their overall payments software supplied to partners and merchants. The additional functionality will enable retailers to implement Pennies both in store and online when processing debit and credit card transactions. YESpay will offer the 'electronic charity box' to its wider partner community to extend the range of retailers that are 'Pennies enabled'. Why not be charitable this Christmas?
